What should I do if a ZPL file renders incorrectly?

First, review warnings and diagnostics in the User Guide. If the issue remains, use the support form and tell us what you expected to see and what Labeloid rendered instead. Include any steps needed to reproduce the issue. Providing the original ZPL file also helps us investigate the problem and, where possible, improve support.

How do I convert ZPL to PDF?

Labeloid can save rendered ZPL output as PDF. If the ZPL file contains multiple labels, they are saved as a multi-page PDF. You can also export rendered pages as PNG or JPEG.

If conversion is your main task rather than viewing and editing ZPL, DocuFreezer provides a dedicated desktop workflow for converting ZPL files to document and image formats.

How do I print a ZPL file?

Labeloid includes a print dialog for printing ZPL from the desktop application. Printer and driver requirements depend on the print method and your Windows setup.

For a dedicated workflow for printing ZPL files and batches, use Print Conductor.

How can I automate ZPL file processing?

For recurring or unattended ZPL processing, use FolderMill. It can watch folders and process incoming files automatically.

Use Labeloid when you want to open, inspect, or edit ZPL manually. Use FolderMill when files need to be processed automatically as they arrive.

What do Labeloid warnings mean?

Labeloid can show diagnostics for issues such as invalid parameters, unknown commands, and some non-standard or ambiguous ZPL constructs. A warning does not necessarily mean that the label failed to render.

These diagnostics help identify ZPL that may need a closer look, but Labeloid is not a complete static ZPL validator.

Why are some ZPL commands ignored?

Labeloid focuses on ZPL commands that affect the rendered label image. Printer-control, RFID, and network commands are outside the rendering scope and may be ignored during preview and rendering.
